■ CAMBRIDGE City proved too hot to handle for a jaded Kings Langley side that exited at the first hurdle.
The home side certainly rode their luck for the first ten minutes as the visitors hit the woodwork three times, Pat Staszewski, Joe Hood and Richard Black all going close.
Kings surprisingly took the lead when Joe Welch fumbled Freddie Buers’ shot and Rene Howe steered the ball into an unguarded net.
