BISHOP ON THE MOVE AT TRINITY

NEAL BISHOP has stood down as manager of Gainsborough Trinity for personal reasons.
The 42-year-old led Trinity to the NPL Premier play-off semi-finals last season, losing out to Bamber Bridge.
But after taking just five points from their opening six games – leaving Trinity languishing in 20th position in the table – Bishop has decided to step aside “for his own reasons”.
In total, Bishop took charge of the Holy Blues for 57 games, winning 22, drawing 19 and losing 16 with a +27 goal difference.
