CANVEY Island returned to winning ways at Park Lane with a convincing victory over Margate.
The Gulls dominated much of the first half, creating a number of good chances.
Luke Deslandes broke through after ten minutes but saw his shot blocked on the line by a combination of goalkeeper and defender and then Evans Kouassi fired over from the edge of the penalty area after a mazy run towards goal.
