STRATFORD Town boss Gav Hurren says he landed a “massive signing” in Football League stalwart Chris Hussey.
Centre-back Hussey, 34, retired from professional football in September after making 564 league and cup appearances in his 16-year professional career for the likes of Cheltenham Town, AFC Wimbledon, Burton Albion, Coventry City, Sheffield United, Swindon Town and latterly Walsall.
Now, however, he is back in Non-League where his career started, at AFC Wimbledon, after agreeing to dust down his boots and become player/ coach...
