■CITY OF LIVERPOOLFC were hit by a sucker punch deep into injury time, as 1874 Northwich came away with all three points.
After an opening 20 minutes where the home side dominated, the visitors took the lead against the run of play when Lucas Weir fired a long-range free-kick which skidded in.
After the break the home side were presented with a golden opportunity to equalise from the spot when sub Xenon Bahula was felled, but Callum Schorah saw his penalty saved by Ellis Allen.
