■ EAST Grinstead ended their run of seven consecutive defeats in emphatic style over Ashford United .
Max Walsh was the hero of the day with four goals from midfield. His hattrick came in the space of 15 first-half minutes.
His first followed a great run from the half-way line before curling his shot past Jacob Russell. He notched his second 11 minutes later with a tap in after a goalmouth scramble and he completed his hat-trick with a deflected free-kick from the edge of the box.
