DUG OUT OF A HOLE

FORMER Colchester United and Plymouth Argyle midfielder Karl Duguid quit as manager of Stanway Rovers.
The 45-year-old left after a 3-1 defeat at Halstead Town on Tuesday night left them second from bottom of the Essex Senior League.
Duguid, who has also played for Welling United, Needham Market and Heybridge Swifts, and managed Coggleshall Town, was in his second spell at Stanway, having returned to the club in July last year.
