■ MOSSLEY’S poor run of form continued as Bootle registered their first win at Seel Park.
Eden Bailey went close early on, but Tony Thompson’s quick goal-kick put Burns in on goal, and while Chris Thompson made an excellent first stop, the rebound fell to Jake Burton who lashed home.
The Lilywhites would seal their own fate just before the break, gifting possession to the visitors and a low cross was tapped home by Jake Burton.
