CHIPPENHAM were the architects of their own defeat. After taking the lead just past the half hour, they missed a penalty and hit the crossbar before conceding an equaliser just before the break.
The second half saw few chances until George Morrall rifled home the winner three minutes after coming off the bench.
The Saints were the first to show as Will Henry got down to save Mitchell Weiss’ low shot. The Bluebirds were in the ascendency as Luke Spokes found Alex Bray, whose shot was deflected behind.
