BARWELL fought back from behind but let slip a pair of two-goal leads to have their wings clipped in this thriller with high-flying Stamford.
James Blunden’s far-post header put the Daniels in front early on but Barwell levelled ten minutes before half-time, Tom Cursons turning in a rebound after Dom Brown-Hill’s shot had been repelled by Michael Duggan. Early in the second half, Cursons was in on the act again, latching on to a deflected Beck-Ray Enoru cross to nudge past Duggan.
