AN INJURY-TIME strike from Anis Nuur was enough to give Walton and Hersham the win ending Beaconsfield’s Six game unbeaten run.
The league’s top scorers were made to work all the way by a disciplined, organised Beaconsfield, for whom skipper Luke Neville, making his 200th appearance for the club, was outstanding in the heart of the back four.
As time ticked away, a hopeful punt forward from Alex Kelly ricocheted away from keeper Matt Rowley and Edward Simon. It fell perfectly for Nuur to fire home.
