WARE responded to the adversity of being a man down after Darion Furlong was sent off in the first half for a late tackle.
Ware were already a goal down having conceded a after 90 seconds when Haroon Meriai was on the end of a move that cut open the Ware defence.
The home side might have equalised three minutes later, but Liam Dulson somehow missed an open goal from Ramiah Mills’ cross.
But for much of the half it was Ware’s Fred Burbidge who was the busier of the two keepers.
