MATTY Buchan scored twice as Bideford fought back to sink Wimborne.
Jez Bedford headed in after just six minutes to give Town an early lead.
Home debutant Gabriel Rodgers had a powerful shot saved by keeper Albert White, before home stopper Adam Seedhouse Evans brilliantly tipped over a strike from Oakley Hanger.
Just after the break, Buchan was fouled in the box and after his penalty was saved, he slammed home the rebound.
