IN a tight game at a wet and windy New Cuthbury, it was Wimborne who came out on top over Yate.
The visitors came into the game following backto-back league wins, and looked to start brightly when Callum Hutton forced a good save from Ross Flitney, with a powerful strike from outside the area in the games opening seconds.
Wimborne then grew into the game and looked the likeliest to score, but seemed unable to find a way to unlock Yate’s defence.
