HAVE you heard the totally unique story about a reserve team that have progressed to a higher standard of football than their club’s first team?
No? Well I discovered these intriguing details on a recent visit to Sporting Club Inkberrow FC. The Worcestershire-based outfit are newcomers this season at Hellenic League Division One level.
Sporting Club were launched in 2016 under the name of “Inkberrow Reserves”. They were intended to be the second string at Inkberrow FC who currently play in the Midland League Division Two at Step 7.
