■ WELWYN Garden City’s three trips to Oxfordshire have brought them nine points, but this one, against second-placed North Leigh was the best of them.
Cyrus Babaie gave them the lead after 15 minutes, when he ran onto a through ball from Brad Wadkins and beat James Foster.
Five minutes before the break, Luke Wiliams bundled home from close range.
North Leigh pressed for a winner, but were nearly caught out on the counter. Goals for both Henry Jones and Babaie were ruled out, for offside and handball.
