DOVER ATHLETIC’S groundstaff were not rewarded for their sterling efforts in getting the game on, as Hampton & Richmond Borough scored the only goal.
Henry Young had the first shot, but the Beavers’ Adam Dedbois was equal to it. Hampton’s then had a chance when Jake Gray’s cross was met by Luis Fernandez, who shot over.
Paris Lock was proving Dover’s best attacking option, and his crosses caused problems for Hampton’s defence, until Dan Wishart and Isaac Pitblado combined to stop him...
