A DOUBLE from Jordan Hallam – his third in two games – ensured Basford recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
Hallam, who scored on his debut against Lancaster City in the week, fired home the opener five minutes before the break before he sealed the win with a superb second with 17 minutes remaining.
United struck the post three times before Hallam bagged his first with an arrowed strike that beat Heath Richardson at his near post.
