BLYTH SPARTANS 6 HARTLEPOOL UTD 3

BOBBY SMALL stole the headlines netting three goals on Wednesday at Cochrane Park as his Blyth Spartans side overcame a 3-1 deficit to beat Hartlepool United 6-3.
After a loss to Pontefract Collieries in their last outing in early October, it was back to winning ways for Blyth as they equalled the Colls’ tally at the top of the table having played one more game.
And Small hailed his team-mates for staying level-headed despite falling behind. But he says they must make sure they perform like their second-half performance sooner.
