■ THIS wet West Yorkshire derby saw the spoils shared between Pontefract and Brighouse.
The game had to pass two pitch inspections before play was allowed and the early stages saw both sides struggling with the conditions.
Pontefract landed the first punch, former Brighouse player Jack Boyle whipping in a perfect cross that Bailey Thompson powered in off the bar.
Brighouse levelled quickly, a long ball flicked on for Myron Gibbons, who fired home before Mohammed Qasim pounced in the box to put the visitors deservedly ahead.
