■ STOCKTON Town doubled up against Winterton in the Northern Premier League East and sealed the game in truly acrobatic fashion.
After a tense first half that saw Stockton fire narrowly over with Michael Fowler and Winterton’s Emmanuel Ilesanmi forcing Callum Roberts into a fantastic save, Stockton’s Kevin Hayes nodded in after the 46th minute to push his side into the ascendancy.
Winterton’s Nathan Popple seemed invincible for a stretch, saving everything that the home side could throw at him.
