INJURY victim Jake Bunyan says the support he has received from everyone at Biggleswade Town in helping him undergo a career-saving operation is “overwhelming”.
Midfielder Bunyan feared his playing days were over after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in a Southern League Division One Central match against FC Romania last season.
But thanks to the £5,000 raised by a crowdfunding campaign, set up by club sponsors Craig and Jenny Deans, Bunyan was able to undergo vital ACL reconstruction on Friday which at least gives him the chance of ...
