■ BRENTWOOD moved to within two points of the play-off places thanks to a convincing win at Enfield.
The visitors started the game in full control and came close after 13 minutes, but Sam Deering’s strike was kept out by George Edgeworth.
From the resulting corner, however, defender Matt Cripps headed home at the backpost to give his side the lead.
Meanwhile, Enfield threatened an equaliser as Ben Wyss’ corner fell to Jay Nash, who hit the crossbar from close range.
