TWO goals in three minutes for ten-man Blyth Town sent AFC Liverpool crashing out of the FA Vase, against the odds.
The Northern League Division Two Leaders were given a mountain to climb after Damen Mullen’s early red card, but goals from Adam Johnson and Dan Wilson gave the hosts a lead to protect.
The Little Reds pulled a goal back through Adam Moorcroft in the final 15 minutes, but couldn’t complete the comeback, while winger Tom Douglas was dismissed in stoppage-time for a dangerous challenge on Max Cowburn.
