MANNY OGUNRINDE inspired Aveley as they turned the game on its head with two late goals to knock St Ives Town out and reach the third round of the FA Trophy.
The first half was an end-to-end affair, with the goalkeepers pulling off a couple of brilliant saves each to keep it goalless after the opening period.
St Ives forward Jonathan Edwards broke the offside trap but had his shot saved by Jonathan North. Moments later, Ben Mensah had the best chance of the game and he looked odds-on to score but was also denied by North.
