WES York scored the winning spot-kick to send Coalville through after they came from behind to force a shoot-out against higher-level Boston.
Jai Rowe gave the Pilgrims the lead on 61 minutes before Eliot Putman drew the Ravens level from the spot shortly after.
After the game ended with both sides seeing a man sent off, the tie was ultimately decided from the spot.
