WINTERTON came
■out on top in the basement battle as they won at Grantham.
Rodrigo Goncalves had a chance for Grantham in the opening minute, but his shot was blocked.
Winterton then went ahead after four minutes when Sam Aynsley cut in to fire past Curtis Hall.
Harry Lovick went close for the hosts from a freekick, before Winterton scored a second goal after 40 minutes when the Gingerbreads allowed a free- kick to bounce in the box and Henry Moore scored from close range.
