A CONTROVERSIAL winner from Millenic Alli secured a third straight home win for FC Halifax Town to boost their play-off credentials.
Alli netted his fifth goal of the season midway through the second half just moments after Wealdstone had strong penalty claims turned down.
Victory took the Shaymen back into the playoff places and assistant manager Andy Cooper said: “It was pleasing to get the win and a clean sheet. We prepared well – it was a good tactical battle.
