There was nothing Cheeky about Bromley’s victory at Hartlepool United – even if the game could have been abandoned at half-time.
With one floodlight not working, like aspects of the Pools defence, the decision was made to carry on and the long trip from Kent, which also included a final leg to the ground for the players in a bunch of Uber taxis, the journey was, ultimately, worthwhile.
