DESPITE a late push from Spennymoor Town, a rejuvenated Gloucester City sealed their first league win since October thanks to a stoppage-time goal from Liam Cross.
The Tigers had a three-goal advantage going into the final 20 minutes before the visitors pulled two back to set up a nail-biting finish that was put to bed with Cross’ first goal for the club.
Just before the half-hour, Cross dinked in an audacious lob from a tight angle that came off the upright before Brandon Smalley bundled the ball in.
