ST IVES recorded their sixth league victory on the bounce as they secured a comfortable win over strugglers Long Eaton.
On a bitterly cold afternoon in Cambridgeshire, the home supporters were sensing the impressive run of their team would continue against a side who were currently bottom of the table.
The Ives went into the game fresh from a 3-1 victory over Barwell, and immediately started where they left off when they took the lead as early as the second minute.
