A SUNNY but bitterly cold afternoon saw the home side overcome a team only two places behind them in the league.
The action started as early as eight minutes, when Rob Farkins had a shot blocked, which fell to Matty Buchan, who cooly slotted it home.
Bishops Cleeve responded and Ross Langworthy had a shot which went wide, and then saw a header saved by Adam Seedhouse Evans in the Bideford goal.
