■FROME squeaked past Exmouth at a cold Badgers Hill with goals from Kane Simpson and Marcus Day.
Despite being bottom, Exmouth found themselves 1-0 up in the 28th minute through Michael Landricombe who smashed a shot in with his left foot after a free-kick was cleared.
It got worse for Frome, as Matt Wood caught Ben Steer in the box – a penalty was given, but Louis Morison’s effort struck the post and Frome cleared.
