■ASCOT United turned on the style to see off Met Police and continue their climb up the table.
The visitors flew out of the block as less than a minute in Brendan Matthew volleyed in from a cross from Taylor Morgan.
Lawrence Ernest fol lowed in Kareem Akinnibi’s free-kick from close range to equalise. Matthew then grabbed his brace as he headed in from Sean McCormack’s cross. Ascot then followed that with a goal just before the break, this one coming from Morgan as he finished off a well-worked move.
