■ STOTFOLD compounded Kempston’s misery in the Southern Central as goals from Robbie Buchanan and Kurtis Alleyne kept the visitors bottom of the table.
The hosts took a while to get going and it wasn’t until late in the first-half that they found the highly-anticipated opener through Buchanan, who was perfectly-placed to head home from Henry Snee’s cross in the 36th minute.
Alleyne then bundled home Buchanan’s cross in the 48th minute for his first goal of the season before Rovers hit back.
