■ MILDENHALL TOWN extended their lead at the top of the table to four points after a 2-1 away win against Ely City on Saturday.
The visitors scored twice within an eight-minute spell in the closing stages with an own goal and a Jarid Robson strike proving to be decisive.
Second-placed Newmarket Town lost ground to leaders Mildenhall after being held to a 2-2 draw at home by Downham Town in seventh spot. Alistair Conway and Jacob Mingay were both on target for the hosts but a late Downham equaliser denied them all three points.
