GABRIEL Johnson’s 18th of the season for Guiseley was the difference at Greenwich Avenue.
An otherwise dull affair was set alight by Johnson who nipped in to poke a loose ball beyond Kieran Preston as the visitors kept within reach of the play-off positions entering the festive period.
A series of early free kicks may have threatened both keepers within the first ten minutes but efforts from both Kieran Fenton and Liam Tongue did little to worry either.
