BREAKTHROUGH: Ollie Muldoon opens the scoring for Hornchurch

HORNCHURCH boss Steve Morison praised his players as they celebrated Christmas early with victory over Canvey Island in a scrappy game.
The win extended the Urchins’ lead at the top to eight points after tasting defeat for the first time last week.
