THIS important game for both sides was not helped by the blustery conditions, but it sparked into life in the eighth minute when Alex Body’s fine strike from a tight angle put the Met in front.
Agoal-line clearance prevented Met going further ahead after 33 minutes.
The first half was spoiled by numerous stoppages for treatment to players which saw seven minutes added.
The Met made home advantage count as they stepped up the pressure.
