THE home side continued their difficult run of form as they succumbed to a first-half goal through Prescot’s John Murphy.
Prescot got on top half way through the first half and took the leadwhen Murphy stabbed home under Matthew Wonnacott after a fortunate deflection made its way to him.
Northwich were instantly on the front foot at the start of the second half.
