Rovers’ Search for a hero finds Ben

BEN Search was Great Wakering’s FA Vase hero, netting the second half winner that guided the Essex Senior League side into the next round.
The cup-tie burst into life just shy of the half-hour.
With 29 minutes on the clock, Whitchurch took the lead when Harry Bower gathered the ball on the right and then let fly with a gem of a shot that dipped past Luis Shamsoum in the visitors’ goal.
But the Shropshire side were unable to hang on to their lead for long with Rovers back on level terms just two minutes late...
