CARSHALTON let a two-goal lead slip as leaders Hornchurch came from behind to share the spoils.
The hosts started brightly, winning a corner inside the first 90 seconds before taking the lead in the third minute courtesy of Danny Bassett’s powerful strike to beat keeper Dion-Curtis Henry.
The visitors responded well though with Ade Yusuff swinging in a number of dangerous crosses to test the backline of the Robins.
