MICKLEOVER stayed top of the table after scraping a well-deserved victory over lowly Berkhamsted in an excellent game watched by 316 at the Glencar Community Stadium.
Sports will be happy with the three points and a solid performance in front of scouts from several professional clubs, while the Comrades will take heart from the defensive solidity which has been immediately restored by returning manager Chris Devane.
