A STAR IS MOURNED

THE LONGEST SERV-ING member of The Non-League Paper’s team has sadly passed away.
Head copytaker Karen Game, a familiar and friendly voice to so many while taking down reports from our writers since the paper’s launch in 2000, passed away peacefully at home last week with her partner Bobby by her side.
The 63-year-old, who also worked for The NLP’s late founding Editor David Emery when he was Sports Editor at The Daily Express, also took copy for The Rugby Paper for many years.
No date has been set for her funeral.
