THE nine Valley men held on for 55 minutes to take a point.
Corby opened the scoring after 16 minutes, captain Michael Jacklin with a header at the far post delivered from a corner.
It looked like the steelmen had the confidence to take the game to Rugby, but the visitor levelled after 20 minutes thanks to Michael Taylor.
