THE points were shared as play-off chasing Whitby Town lost ground on their rivals after an entertaining contest stayed goalless at Borough Park.
Workington will be far happier with the point, especially having played the last half-hour with ten men after Sam Smith was dismissed for a second yellow card.
Both had first-half chances, Whitby goalkeeper Shane Bland’s fine save denying teenager Kitt Nelson.
