A LATE rally was not enough for Coleshill to claim anything from Craig Nicholls’s first game in charge against ten-man Coventry Sphinx.
The deadlock was broken midway through the first half, Sphinx’s Matt Shipman powering home a Callum Woodward corner.
Fin Shorrock curled the second into the top corner having been fed by Tyler Haddow four minutes before half-time, but Sphinx’s near-perfect half was spoiled by Woodward’s straight red. Gio Dainty got one back for Coleshill with 19 minutes to go only for Shipman to slot home ...
