SHEFFIELD completed the doubler over Ashington as the hosts struggled to get going from the start.
Cameron Johnson opened the scoring after 36 minutes when a corner was whipped in and Ashington failed to react and clear their lines, leaving an easy shot on.
Ashington reacted quickly for what was left of the first half, but never really created a chance.
Just after the hour mark another corner would be Ashington’s downfall, bouncing twice in the six-yard box before Benni Ndlovu stabbed it home.
