THIS game was marred by a serious head injury to Brentwood Town centre-back Romel Aarons Royal, who was taken to hospital with the game having to be delayed by an hour 34 minutes into the first half.
After the resumption, it remained goalless until halftime, but Brentwood broke the deadlock five minutes into the second half, George Sykes following up to score after Mekhi McKenzie’s shot had been blocked by Stow goalkeeper Ashlee Jones.
