■ THE Baggies completed the league double over the Vale with a goal in each half.
They were quickest out of the blocks and had already created a few half-chances before Kane Fitzgerald drove forward and fed Josh Keeya who drilled the ball into the bottom left-hand corner after 15 minutes.
Despite some good play thereafter no further goals ensued before half-time.
After the break the visitors pressed further forward and caused mild panic in the home defence on a couple of occasions but to no avail as the Baggies held firm to keep their lead ...
